Everyone has a different concept and ideas toward time, the way we use time in daily life is also distinct. In fact, time become everyone’s private properties that count the ownership. In Monday’s class of communication, Professor Levy talk about how time effect our life, and the way we use time is indirectly represent our personality or identity. In another work, the study of time belongs to the “nonverbal communication”. People describes time as wasted, saved, or used. the ownership of time become so popular as the time really exist in account of some form of matter. It is very funny that people (including myself) never actually touch or visualize the time directly but we would said we used the time or manager the time.
In modern society, as the time past by after I done my homework or after I done my job, I would think time can make money! Similar situation when couples broke up, people usually think the best solution to heal their heart or recover from broken relationship is time. Because every minutes on what we are doing is involve with time, no wonder we would rely on time so much that we wouldn’t accomplish many things without time or even consider time as our property.
Professor Levy has mention a story about time during WWII of Germany change the times of French. I have found the article when Germany defeat France and advanced their local time to follow DST (daylight saving time), after the French liberation, the country was officially changing its Old French time and continued followed Germany’a schedule of DST switches. This article demonstrated the fact that time actually changeable under circumstance.
